Hi, I’m Jac!
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who has been working in the mental health field since 2015 providing individual, group, and family therapy in residential, inpatient, day treatment (PHP/IOP) and outpatient settings.
I have held various leadership positions across all levels of care in eating disorder treatment, where I developed a passion for supervising and training new clinicians, as well as creating a culture that centers connection and authentic relationships.
My office is a safe space to be exactly who you are. I identify firmly as a weight neutral, HAES aligned, affirming provider.
My experiential expertise in eating disorders aside, I am fortunate to have had experience working with folx with many different goals and needs, with particular interest areas of anxiety, depression, and trauma. I am also specifically trained in CBT for insomnia.
I utilize an individualized eclectic approach to best serve you, because one size rarely fits all.
In session you will find I often utilize principles and ideas from DBT, CBT, ACT, and other evidence based practice, but most importantly my focus is on creating an authentic relationship with you and being your trusted teammate. It is not uncommon for me to utilize humor in session because laughter is truly some of the best medicine I know of.
I was born and raised on the South Shore in Massachusetts. I live there still with my husband, son, and a very bossy corgi mix who likes to think she runs my life. I love to read, spend time outside, hike, and watch anything HGTV I can get my hands on. I can’t get enough of bad jokes, especially if they involve puns.
If you're looking for a provider who wants to earn your trust and walk with you through the great times and the messy ones, please reach out to me and let's find a time to connect.
